Maybelle Cleveland Swindler

11/29/1919 – 12/15/2012

Maybelle Swindler of Dallas, Texas passed away December 15, 2012 a few weeks after her 93^rd birthday.

She was born in New Orleans and moved to Dallas in 1945. Maybelle loved to help others and worked in a long term care facility before taking a position with St. Monica School’s after school care program.

Maybelle was a founding member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church.  She attended services regularly and lived independently until moving to Treemont nursing home this year.

She is survived by her three children: Don Swindler of Dallas, Texas; Clinton Swindler of Canyon Lake, Texas; and Janice Dugan of NYC, NY. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous others who blended into her life.

Maybelle never asked for anything for herself but was always willing to give. She is now at peace with God.
